Since beginning of the eighties General tryed to do „Raw Can Roll“ sound influenced from Bands like Iggy And The Stooges, New York Dolls, The Ramones, The Dead Boys, L.O.T.N.C., Damned, SLF, Slade, Stones, Cockney Rejects and more powerfull RCR music.
The original line-up members of Generation N where Gerhard “The General“ Seckler (Voice/Guitar), Ralf Noll (Guitar), Bernhard „Swizzy“ Müller (Drums/Chor) and Robert „Robby“ Schneider (Bass/Chor,84-88), since 1989 Jürgen “The Boy” Seitzl (89-91), Uwe “Ka-Wumm” Kopp (since 92) comes from bands as Skandal, Rabid Dogs, Sagrotan, Outside Kids, Gutsherren and 1-2-3-4. 1984 Rudi Schäble, the cult dj of southern Germany became the management of the band and the name changed from 1-2-3-4 to Generation N. They started in the same year some recordings for their first 12” Vinyl “Für Dich” and the 2000 Töne Sampler who comes out 1984. A year later they became strong success in their area. The journalist Doris Schröder-Köpf who made a cool festival with GenN wrote 1985 about them: Music for shakings bodies – Martially Show – Wild Boys. With the song “Baby Go Home” they made as the first band from Augsburg a show on TV. In 1986 the album “Trash, Rock And Rouge” comes out and two songs “Rock N Roll Chicks” and “This Sound Give Me More” became also a video in a TV show. Other productions as “Killer Gen” 1990 and “Rise to The Sky” 1994 followed. Over ten years and about 100 live shows “The general” left the band after the last gigs in May (Augsburg – Ostwerk and München - Feierwerk) starting first Cyberspace Shows in Europe. The other three members made with the name “Raw Frame” a album “Raw Frame” and made some gigs also with “Peter And The Test Tube Babies”. The first live show with “The General” was on the last day of the Ramones Tribute Festival (Rampe3) in Augsburg in April 2003 as a honour to DeeDee and Joey Ramone. In December 2003 they played again as a special in the first Art-XS Show in Augsburg. 2004 will be done some recordings for the planned album “Raw Can Roll” and some samplers. Gen N last liveshow was at the Crash 07.04.07 in Freiburg on the first "Augsburg Calling" concert. The last solo liveshow from General was in Paris at the ART XS Show. Seit Ende der 70er versucht sich General im Raw Can Roll Bereich. Inspiriert von anderen Künstler wie z.B. Iggy And The Stooges, New York Dolls, The Ramones, The Dead Boys, Damned, SLF, Slade, Stones, Cockney Rejects aber auch Ludwig van Beethoven, J.S. Bach und Tchaikovsky.
Die Gründungsmitglieder von Genration N waren: Gerhard "The General" Seckler (Gesang/Gitarre), Bernhard "Swizzy" Müller (Schlagzeug, Chor), Ralf Noll (Gitarre), und Robert "Robby" Schneider (Bass/Chor) ab 1989 Jürgen „The Boy“ Seitzl ab 1992 Uwe "Ka-Wumm" Kopp (Bass, Chor) spielten vorher in verschiedenen Punk-Bands wie, Skandal, Rabid Dogs, Sagrotan, Outside Kids, Gutsherren und 1-2-3-4. 1984 übernahm Rudi Schäble, der KultDJ des süddeutschen Raumes, das Generation N-Management und der Name wurde von 1-2-3-4 in Generation N umbenannt. Generation N starteten im gleichen Jahr Studioaufnahmen zu ihrem Lied „Baby go home“ für die Schallplattenproduktion des Augsburg-Samplers „2000 Töne“. 1984 produzierten sie die Maxi-Single „Für Dich“. Im Nov 1985 schrieb die AZ Journalistin Doris Schröder Köpf über den Liveauftritt von Gen N bei einem Festival „Musik für den Bauch … Martialisches Auftreten … wilde Jungs“. Mit dem Song von der Maxisingle B-Seite „Baby go home“ hatten sie als erste Augsburger Musikgruppe einen Auftritt in einer Fernsehproduktion. 1986 wurde das Album „Trash, Rock and Rouge“ aufgenommen dessen Videos der Songs „Rock´n roll chicks“ und „This sound give me more“ ebenfalls im TV ausgestrahlt wurde. Weitere Produktionen wie „Killer Gen“ 1990 und „Rise to the sky“ 1994 folgten. General Seckler verliess nach über 10 Jahren und ca. 100 Auftritte 1995 nach den Konzerten im Mai 1995 in Augsburg (Ostwerk) und München (Feierwerk) die Band und führte erstmalig in Europa Cyberspace Shows durch. Raw Frame traten ab 1996 unter anderen mit Peter And The Test Tube Babies auf und produzierten ein Album „Raw Frame“. Der Erste gemeinschaftliche Auftritt von Raw Frame und General Seckler (Generation N) war am letzten Tag des Ramones Tribute Festival (Rampe3) zu Ehren von DeeDee und Joey Ramone in Augsburg vor 500 Zuschauer. Im Dezember 2003 war der letzte Auftritt auf der Finisage der ersten Art-XS Show in Augsburg. 2004 wurde eine Aufnahme für das geplante Album "Raw Can Roll" sowie einem Sampler gemacht.
